This webinar will help you understand some common characteristics and beliefs of men who batter. With a more thorough understanding of the men you work with every week, this webinar will help you to become more effective as you communicate with them. You will learn how addressing shame can foster accountability more quickly in your groups, learn how to harness both selfish and nobler motivations of men who batter to foster lasting change, and communicate accurately to survivors and victim advocates about this difficult population. This presentation will also cover how facilitators can avoid burnout in the field.

How To Attend
Join the live program from your office, home, or hotel room using a computer with high speed internet. You may ask questions, participate in surveys, and post comments from your computer during the program.
