OIM: Risk Assessment and Safety Planning for Victims of Family Violence

As Advocates we often have only brief interactions with survivors. One of the most important ways we can empower them is by taking the time to fully assess the risk and lethality of the relationship and offering survivor led safety planning. This workshop will explore the types of risk and lethality and guide participants in increasing their skills to help provide comprehensive and empowering safety planning.

Meets HHSC Rule Requirement §379.404. cont. (c) Direct service employees and their supervisors must also receive training on the following: (4) Risk assessment and safety planning for victims of family violence;

Please note that certificates will be provided only to those individuals who registered and logged into the webinar online.

How To Attend
Join the live program from your office, home, or hotel room using a computer with high speed internet. You may ask questions, participate in surveys, and post comments from your computer during the program. Please note that credit (if available) is only provided to registered attendees participating at their own computer and phone. Simple instructions with a link to the program will be sent when you register and again the day before the webinar.
