OIM: Legal Options for Victims of Family Violence

The legal options for survivors of family violence webinar will provide advocates an orientation to the different legal options available to survivors. Survivors of family violence may be involved with many different systems at the same time (i.e., CPS, Criminal Court, & Family Court). This webinar will provide advocates with resources and options available within these different systems to help survivors feel empowered and confident in accessing the resources available.

Meets HHSC Rule Requirement ยง379.404. cont. (c) Direct service employees and their supervisors must also receive training on the following: (5) Legal options for victims of family violence;

Please note that certificates will be provided only to those individuals who registered and logged into the webinar online.

How To Attend
Join the live program from your office, home, or hotel room using a computer with high speed internet. You may ask questions, participate in surveys, and post comments from your computer during the program. Please note that credit (if available) is only provided to registered attendees participating at their own computer and phone. Simple instructions with a link to the program will be sent when you register and again the day before the webinar.
